as comforting as sympathy and understanding may be, it doesn't validate or justify inactivity. the world does not care what hand you've been dealt, and it wont coddle you. especially when you've become your own hindrance. anybody who is able to persist in the face of extreme trauma and adversity is an inspiration to me.
